Actor Song Joong-Ki announced the birth of his baby boy on June 14th. On his fan café, the actor wrote, “I wanted to share this dream-like news with all of you first. We welcomed our baby boy in my wife’s home town, Rome, Italy. Both Mother and baby are healthy and with a grateful heart, I am taking care of my family with great happiness.”
The actor expressed his overwhelming emotions by continuing, “it is the most precious gift to both us as we both have always dreamt of creating a lifetime of happiness together.”
Song Joong-Ki also expressed his gratitude to fans, saying, "I am always thankful to all the Kiel fans out there. I hope you also find great happiness in your lives.”
Earlier this year in January, Song Joong-Ki announced that he had registered his marriage with British actress Katy Louise Saunders as well as the news that they were expecting a baby. Reportedly, the couple met whilst Song Joong-Ki was filming for the drama ‘Vincenzo.’
Soon after in February, the couple traveled to Hungary together in schedule to film the Netflix movie ‘My Name Is Loh Kiwan’ and extended their stay in Europe to also attend the Cannes International Film Festival with the ‘Hopeless’ team.
