G-Dragon glorified the cover of Elle magazine’s July issue, dressed in iconic Chanel pieces.

In a close-up interview after the photo shoot, G-Dragon opened up about his new upcoming album.

The star said, "As an artist, I am working on my new album with so much fun and excitement, especially as I have taken a long break from being singer ‘G-Dragon.’ I am much looking forward to presenting the complete album to all of my fans.”

He added, "I am trying to convey specific messages through my music. At the time of producing, I always pour out all of my emotions into the melody and lyrics so that when I look back, I can reflect on my past experiences. Music has always been the best way to understand myself as a human being.”

G-Dragon was also asked to comment on his global-scale fame as a ‘trend-setter.’ He said, “Labels can be subjective and become more dominant as time goes by. I am grateful to be regarded as such. When I look back at iconic artists, they are remembered for who they are, regardless of the era or trend. I am also striving to become such an artist."
