BTS RM spoke directly about joining the military.

RM, who took the ARMY Lounge special stage at 5 pm communicated with fans through ‘'It's 5PM, and This is Kim Nam-jun’ while a festa was held to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his BTS debut at Hangang Park in Yeouido, Seoul, on June 17.

RM, who led the atmosphere with a pleasant talk, also revealed his military enlistment. It started when a fan introduced himself as an Army from Vietnam in a real-time comment reading section. In response, RM hinted at joining the army by saying, "It's nice to meet you. I'll be in the army soon".

BTS is currently spending a ‘military break time’ with Jin and J-Hope serving in the military, and RM will join the group as the third runner.

A special guest was also present at ‘It's 5PM, and This is Kim Nam-jun’ V and Jungkook are the main characters. V, who is staying abroad, said, "I was planning to go there". he said, expressing his longing for his fans, and Jungkook said, "I was waiting while watching the live broadcast even though it was dawn here". He showed off his love for fans with a confession that he missed his fans.

RM said, "I'm touched that everyone is working hard on their own work. "I think it'll be fun when we return to the team," he said, adding, "I meet Jungkook often, and we're preparing something fun".
