Netflix’s starts streaming ‘D.P. 2’ on July 28

The second season of Netflix's 'D.P' (hereinafter "D.P 2") will start streaming on July 28.

Netflix revealed the official poster on the 20th. The poster depicts the story following the season's end. Private Roo-ri (Moon Sang-hoon) has been bullied by superiors, and he went on a shooting rampage. His bloodspattered military locker was shown in the image.

‘D.P. 2’ is a series about the deserter pursuit team. Jun-ho (Jung Hae-in) and Ho-yeol (Koo Gyo-hwan) confront the absurdity (Jeong Hae-in) and unchanging reality (Koo Kyo-hwan).

“It is a continuation of season 1,” said Jung Hae-in. "A slightly more dense story will be told," he added.

"Season 2 starts again in the same reality where nothing has changed, even though there have been many incidents." stated the film crew.

‘D.P.’ was first released in August 2021. It exposed the military’s dark side. The series was selected as one of the top 10 best international television shows by the New York Times.

It also won the best drama award at the Baeksang Art Awards and the first award at the Blue Dragon Series Awards. It has been recognized domestically and internationally.
