Actors Han Ji-Min, Lee Min-Ki and Suho have teamed up for a new JTBC drama ‘Behind Your Touch’ (script by Lee Nam-Kyu, Oh Bo-Hyun, Kim Da-Hee and directed by Kim Seok-Yoon and Choi Bo-Yoon).
‘Behind Your Touch’ is a crime investigation drama set in the rural village of Mujin. It portrays a veterinarian with the ability to see the past and a detective who needs that ability for him to return to the police force team in the city.
It is the first time in four years since director Kim Seok-Yoon and writer Lee Nam-Kyu have teamed since their last project ‘The Light in Your Eyes.’
Han Ji-Min plays the role of veterinarian ‘Bong Ye-Bun’, who accidentally gains psychometric abilities, allowing her to see the past of a soul when she touches the buttocks of people and animals. ‘Bong Ye-Bun’ experiments with her newfound ability and gets involved with Detective ‘Moon Jang-Yeol’ (played by Lee Min-Ki), who gets caught up in her tricks. The two eventually pair up to solve mystery cases in the village.
In a close-up interview, Han Ji-Min said, "I gave it my best and poured out all of my affection into filming.” She added, "Thanks to the director, writer, actors and staff, this wonderful project was completed with professionalism. I cannot wait to meet all of the viewers on screen.”
Lee Min-Ki takes on the role of a passionate detective named ‘Moon Jang-Yeol’ who was demoted from the city police force to the rural village of Mujin. He aims to return to the city police force and is in luck when he bumps into ‘Bong Ye-Bun’ and ends up awakening his detective instincts to deal with a series of murder cases in the village.
Lee Min-Ki said, "I am grateful to have met such a tremendous cast of seniors and juniors. It was a great honor to work with all.” He further stated, "Looking back, every moment of filming holds precious memories. I am eagerly waiting for the official broadcast with an excited heart.”
Moreover, Suho plays the role of ‘Kim Sun-Woo’ who is a part-timer in the Mujin local convenience store. He captures the heart of ‘Bong Ye-Bun’ with his warm smile, however has a mysterious side to him which becomes questionable as time goes by.
Suho said, "I really liked director Kim Seok-Yoon's works and I am grateful to have worked together with him, especially as this drama was a comeback project for me.”
Stay in tune for the premiere broadcast on August 12th at 22:30 (KST).
