"Story of striving to try something"
Netflix series 'D.P.' Season 2 (referred to as 'D.P. 2') released a short interview with director Han Jun-Hee.
In the upcoming season, the director will continue the unfinished story from Season 1. Previously, in Season 1 which was aired in 2021, the series exposed the harsh reality of the Korean military.
Director Han said, "Season 1 ended with questions like 'Was I just a bystander?' or 'Should I try something?' This time, Season 2 is about 'challenge.'"
He continued, "I approached the plot with a focus on striving to try something."
Reportedly, more variety has been added to each episode. Director Han explained, "We differentiated each episode with different genres. We have expanded the spectrum of the story."
He added, "In addition to Jun-Ho (played by Jung Hae-In) and Ho-Yeol (played by Koo Kyo-Hwan), new characters from the military headquarters will also appear."
A representative from Netflix stated, "Director Han Jun-Hee will return with a more deeper story."
