It appears that BTS' Jung Kook is getting ready to make his mark with a solo single. 

BIGHIT MUSIC announced on Thursday (June 29th) via Weverse that Jung Kook's new solo single 'Seven' is slated to arrive on July 14th.

The release describes the tune as "an invigorating summer song" that will have ARMY feeling "the full breadth of Jung Kook's charm."

On Friday (June 30th), Jungkook went live on Weverse to share his excitement about the digital single. He is also preparing an album.

Jung Kook said "Don't be too disappointed because it's just a single. I'm also preparing an album and I'm very excited." He added, "I'm also preparing an album, even though nothing has been finalized.

It is Jung Kook's much-anticipated debut solo album. The member of BTS are having time to work on their solo efforts since June last year. The solo careers of j-hope, Jin, RM, Jimin, Suga launched a new era for the K-pop superstars.
