Seventeen has reached a huge new milestone. On July 5th, the album distributor YG PLUS announced Seventeen's 10th mini album 'FML' sold 6.2 million copies worldwide, which is a new record for the group.
Moreover, Seventeen has become the first-ever group from Korea to hit more than 6 million of one album.
Seventeen's best-ever chart rankings and sales numbers all feel wholly deserved for 'FML'. The album sold over 3 million physical copies in its first day available on April 24. It marks the group's biggest sales week, plus a new chart peak of No. 2 on the Billboard 200. With its eight weeks on the Billboard 200, it became Seventeen's longest-charting album.
Seventeen has also proved its massive popularity in Japan. 'FML' landed at No. 3 on Billboard Japan's Hot Albums and Top Album Sales for the first half of the year (from November 28, 2022 to May 28, 2023). It also landed at No.3 on Oricon's Mid-Year Album Chart 2023.
Meanwhile, Seventeen's upcoming concert "SEVENTEEN TOUR 'FOLLOW' TO SEOUL" will be held at the Gocheok Sky Dome on July 21st and 22nd.
