2PM's Nickhun was confirmed to make a Hollywood debut.

On Wednesday (July 5th), JYP Entertainment announced that Nichkhun's Hollywood debut film 'The Modelizer' will be played in North America starting on July 14 in select theaters.

'The Modelizer' is Keoni Waxman's romantic comedy movie. Young Hong Kong tycoon Shawn and model Camilla fall in love despite their polar opposite beliefs. 

Nichkhun plays 'Bucky,' Shawn's best friend. Bucky is the son of a wealthy Thai-Chinese family who is attractive, friendly, and gentle.

An official stated, "Bucky's friendship with Shawn is broken because of Camilla. However, he strives to keep the friendship and recognizes its importance."

The official trailer video also drew attention. Nichkhun fully immersed himself in his character who enjoys a lavish lifestyle.

Last year, he played one of the main characters in the Thai movie 'Cracked.' He also appeared in the Thai drama 'Finding the Rainbow,' playing a businessman named Wilson.

Nichkun is also pursuing a career as a K-Pop idol. He held a concert in Tokyo with Jun.K and Wooyoung last March. Also, he is set to perform at 'WATERBOMB JAPAN 2023' in Osaka (July 15th) and Tokyo (July 29th) with JUN.K., another 2PM member.
