Jungkook will release his solo single 'Seven' and its music video on July 14th, at 1:00 p.m. (KST). This will be a significant moment as Jungkook will be a K-pop solo artist.

'Seven' is a summer song that anyone can enjoy. The song is a passionate serenade accompanied by lyrics about wanting to spend every day with the one you love. 

Prior to the release of 'Seven', Jungkook described the song as "a highly addictive song that anyone can easily and comfortably enjoy." 

Jungkook shared his love for the song, adding "As soon as I heard it, I felt 'I have to do this'. It's rare to come across a song that immediately hooks you, and I really liked it."

Regarding the creation process of 'Seven,' Jungkook said, "I've been thinking about how more people could enjoy 'Seven'. 'Seven' was the first genre I've ever challenged, and the process was fresh."

From the song's creation to its music video, a host of glittering stars, including Andrew Watt, Cirkut, Schooter Braun, Latto, and Han so-hee, have collaborated on Jungkook's solo project.

Grammy-award-winning music producer and composer Andrew Watt have taken part in the production and creation of 'Seven', helping to craft a song that clearly reflects Jungkook's musical color.

In addition, Grammy-nominated American rapper Latto has featured on the track, injecting 'Seven' with dynamic and exciting energy through a feature. 

Han So Hee has appeared in Jungkook's music video for 'Seven' as his on-screen girlfriend. Jungkook and Han So-hee fight on a date in the MV teaser depicting the couple's 7 days.

"Jungkook plans to fully showcase his personality and charm, emitting a unique 'aura' not as Jungkook of BTS, but as a solo artist Jungkook," said the label. 

Meanwhile, Jungkook will be performing at the GMA Summer Concert Series in Central Park on July 14th, 2023, unveiling his first solo single 'Seven.'
