Super Junior has renewed with SM Entertainment, and is expected to open a new chapter with full support.
Super Junior debuted in 2005 and is best known for songs 'Sorry, Sorry,' 'Mr. Simple,' and 'Bonamana,' 'Devil.' Known for their first Asia-wide live concert tour SUPER SHOW, they set various records including being the first Korean boy band to hold a tour in South America and the first Asian boy band to perform in Saudi Arabia.
Moreover, the boy band is the first ever artist under SM Entertainment to release 11 albums throughout their careers. Thus, it is an opportunity for Super Junior to add another page to the history of K-Pop.
Super Junior will continue group activities with SM Entertainment moving forward. As for members Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun, they will pursue individual promotions elsewhere while maintaining relations with SM Entertainment for group promotions. SM Entertainment will support the three in their new challenges. However, their activities as Super Junior will still be with SM Entertainment. As SM Entertainment plans to coordinate activities effectively across units, groups, and individuals, even greater synergy will be achieved.
The members of Super Junior are planning to meet their global fans through new music, performances, fan meetings, and more this year.
