Actor Jo In-sung put his compassion into action by providing a special screening of his latest film for young individuals with rare diseases.
According to "IOK Company," on the 18th of last month, Jo In-sung invited around 30 people to the preview screening of the movie "Smugglers." The audience included teenagers with rare diseases, as well as those from orphanages and social welfare institutions.
The agency stated, "On that day, the preview screening was the first of its kind before the official release of the film, and the lead actor's greeting was held. Jo In-sung used all of his personal invitation tickets for this event."
The related organization also expressed their gratitude, with a representative from the association of rare and orphan diseases stating, "It was a precious experience for families of patients who find it difficult to enjoy cultural activities."
The representative added, "It is not easy for them to watch a movie while using a wheelchair, but Jo In-sung showed thoughtfulness by arranging the front seats so they could see the actors' faces up close. We sincerely appreciate his kindness."
Jo In-sung has been actively spreading positive influence through various volunteer and donation activities. Since 2020, he has been participating in fundraising activities for pediatric rare disease treatments, in collaboration with a volunteer organization called "Manna."
He also established a school for underprivileged children in impoverished areas overseas. The Milal Welfare Foundation revealed that Jo In-sung donated 500 million won, and with this contribution, the "Singida New Vision School" in Tanzania was completed.
Meanwhile, Jo In-sung is gearing up for the filming of the movie 'Hope' directed by Na Hong-jin.
