Taeil has halted all schedules after a car accident and is undergoing surgery.

On August 15, SM Entertainment announced, "Taeil was involved in an accident while riding his motorcycle back home from a schedule in the early morning."

A medical examination and treatment were provided to Taeil immediately after he was transported to the hospital. The examination results revealed that Taeil has a fracture in his right thigh which requires surgery.

SM Entertainment stated, "Taeil is currently preparing for his surgery at the hospital while receiving necessary care."

Taeil will halt all of his schedules in order to focus on his treatment and recovery. Taeil will not be able to participate in NCT's group concert 'NCT Nation : To The World' scheduled to take place on August 26. 

SM Entertainment promised, "The label promises to prioritize Taeil's health above all else, and we will do everything we can to ensure that Taeil can greet fans once again healthy and well."

Meanwhile, NCT will release its 4th album 'Golden Age' on various music platforms on August 28 at 6 pm (KST).
