BTS's 'Boy with Luv' became group's 2nd music video that surpassed 1.7 billion views

On Tuesday (August 22), Big Hit Music announced, "The number of YouTube views of the group BTS' 'Boy With Luv' music video exceeded 1.7 billion".

The song became the group's second song to garner this achievement after Dynamite in June.

'Boy With Luv' featuring American singer Halsey has been described as a "funk pop" song about happiness and love. Immediately following its release, it landed at No.8 on the Billboard Hot 100, charting for 8 consecutive weeks. The song is the first Korean song to surpass 1 billion cumulative streams on Spotify.

As BTS has 29 music videos with over 1 billion views on YouTube including 'DNA (1.5 billion views)' and 'Mike Drop (1.3 billion views)', records are likely to be renewed.
