Singer and actress IU, in celebration of her 15th debut anniversary this coming September, is attracting attention for her unique concert ticket pricing.

IU's agency, EDAM Entertainment, announced on the 22nd, "IU will be holding the 2023 IU Fan Concert 'I+UN1VER5E' at the Seoul KSPO DOME on both September 23rd and 24th."

They continued, "Having spent fifteen years where the artist and fans have solidly stood by each other's sides and built friendships, this fan concert is expected to be a meaningful event. We ask for a lot of interest and anticipation."

Being an "icon of fan love," IU has consistently expressed her affection towards her fans. Therefore, it's been said that she has been actively involved in planning the fan concert from the very beginning, suggesting ideas and diligently preparing. In the past, she commemorated her debut anniversary in September by holding various offline events like performances and fan meetings, accumulating precious memories with her fans. This has heightened the anticipation about what kind of stage she will present this time.

Especially this time, her consideration for fans has shown from the ticket pricing. 

In recent times, ticket prices for idol concerts have risen to around 200,000 won or even higher, sparking discontent among K-pop fans.

In June, for Seventeen's world tour concert 'BE THE SUN IN SEOUL' held at the Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome, the tickets were priced at 132,000 won for all seats. For Le Sserafim's concert 'FLAME RISES IN SEOUL', which took place on the 12th and 13th of the same month at the Seoul Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, VIP seats were priced at 198,000 won and regular seats at 154,000 won. Including ticketing fees and delivery charges, the VIP seats for Le Sserafim's concert went well over 200,000 won.

In contrast, IU's upcoming fan concert has garnered attention for its affordable pricing. The ticket pricing is quite reasonable, considering the current trend of high concert ticket prices. The best seats are priced at 88,000 won, while seats with slightly obstructed views are priced at 66,000 won. This is significantly cheaper compared to recent concerts by other K-pop artists.

IU's fan concert 'I+UN1VER5E' tickets will be available for pre-sale exclusively to fan club members on September 4th at 8 PM through Melon Ticket. General ticket sales will take place from September 6th to 21st.
