Red Velvet's Wendy successfully completed her first performance of the musical Rebecca.

Rebecca is a musical based on the novel by Daphne du Maurier and the psychological thriller film Rebecca directed by Alfred Hitchcock.

After its premiere in Korea in 2013, it began its historic 10th anniversary performance this year.

Wendy will star as "I" in the musical Rebecca. The story revolves around Maxim DeWinter and his new wife, credited as "I", who falls in love with him.

The like water singer conveyed the complex situation "I" is experiencing through her voice. The audience was captivated by her dazzling performance, despite it being her first musical.

Wendy said, "I've always dreamed of performing in a musical, and I'm glad to realize that dream with such great work and characters."

She added, "I am grateful to the staff, actors, and audience who cheered me on throughout my first performance," adding, " I will do my best in every performance."

Musical Rebecca, where you can see other sides of Wendy, will be held at Shinhan Card Hall, Seoul until November 19th.
