BTS's Jungkook continues his record-breaking streak. He has topped the Billboard charts for seven consecutive weeks.

On the 6th (Korean time), Billboard released a preview article about the charts. It was reported that Jungkook's first solo single, 'Seven,' has secured the top spot on the 'Billboard Global 200' and 'Billboard Global (excluding the United States)' charts. 

He has been holding the number one position for seven weeks in a row, breaking the all-time record for a K-pop artist. This surpasses BTS's previous record of four consecutive weeks at number one with 'Dynamite.'

His streaming numbers increased significantly compared to the previous week. 'Seven' accumulated 97 million streams in the past week (August 25-31). In terms of digital sales, it earned 12,000 points.

Jungkook has proven his global influence with 'Seven.' He achieved the top spot on various charts, including the Billboard main chart 'Hot 100,' iTunes Top Songs chart (in 106 countries), and Spotify Daily Top Song Global chart. 

It was also considered one of the most-streamed songs of the summer. 'Seven' ranked third in Spotify's most-played summer songs, following 'Ella Baila Sola' and 'Where She Goes.'

Additionally, Jungkook has been nominated for the '2023 MTV Video Music Awards' (MTV VMA) this year.
