Former (G)I-DLE member Seo Soojin Signed a Contract with BRD, Aiming for a Debut in October

Former (G)I-DLE member Seo Soojin has signed an exclusive contract with a new management agency and is preparing for a debut in October.

According to a report on the 16th, Seo Soojin recently signed a contract with BRD Communications and has been actively preparing for her solo debut. She is aiming for a debut this month.

Seo Soojin opened an Instagram account on June 30th and began cautiously communicating with her fans. This led to industry speculation that Seo Soojin has started making significant moves towards her solo debut.

Previously, in 2021, allegations surfaced online, primarily within online communities, claiming that Soojin had been involved in school bullying. These allegations included claims that Soojin had verbally abused a friend during this period.

At that time, both Soojin and her agency denied the school bullying allegations and filed a lawsuit against the accuser. However, in March of the same year, Soojin suspended all her activities, and in August, she left the group. Then, in March of the following year, the accuser was found not guilty of making false allegations, leading the management agency to terminate its exclusive contract with Soojin.
