Singer IU conveyed a plea to fans.
IU's agency, EDAM Entertainment, announced through IU's official fan cafe on the 17th, "We will provide guidance on fan etiquette for the formation of a healthy fandom culture."
First, the agency informed, "Visits to private spaces, indiscriminate live broadcasts within airport facilities, intrusive behavior, and on-site visits are prohibited."

The announcement also outlined the consequences for violating fan etiquette. It explained, "Without prior warning, IU's official fan club 'Uaena' membership and privileges may be restricted or revoked."
Additionally, they added, "In cases where violations of etiquette are deemed severe and potentially constitute criminal acts, legal actions, both civil and criminal, may be taken."
On another note, IU has been suffering from malicious harassment. It has been reported that she has been a target of online harassment, baseless accusations, and even death threats.
The agency revealed on the 6th, "Recently, there have been reports of death threats against the artist," and expressed that "the level of violent behavior toward the artist has already crossed the line."

[Fan Etiquette Guidelines]
1. Visiting private spaces, including the company, recording studios, practice rooms, hair/makeup shops, and other personal spaces that may infringe on the artist's private life, such as their residence, is strictly prohibited.
2. Indiscriminate on-site live broadcasts and recordings within airport facilities, including the immigration and security areas, baggage claim areas, duty-free shops, lounges, as well as on the plane, can cause discomfort to the general public and airport personnel. Additionally, it can infringe upon the artist's personal life, and hence, is prohibited.
3. In offline interactions, any behavior exceeding reasonable proximity to the artist, continuous communication, visits, conversations, and physical contact will be prohibited. This applies to the artist's family, acquaintances, and friends as well.
4. For private schedules, which cannot be disclosed in advance due to the request of the organizing party for reasons of security, on-site visits are strictly forbidden.
5. During official offline activities, unauthorized departures from the artist's guided path, unauthorized entry into restricted areas (e.g., waiting rooms, parking lots), excessive disputes with fans of other artists, and any verbal or physical abuse directed at on-site staff or security personnel are strictly prohibited.
6. In addition, impersonation of others for fan activities, taking photos, recording or audio recording in unauthorized areas, selling the artist's personal information, selling flight information (flights, seats, etc.) for the artist's domestic and international arrivals and departures, interfering with artist-related work, and non-compliance with requests for cooperation are all strictly prohibited.
