The investigation into Lee Sun-kyun's alleged drug use began in mid-September based on a tip-off. A worker at a Gangnam area '10% room salon' (G salon) identified as Mr. A was reported to have used drugs with VIP customers.
Incheon Police initiated an investigation into Mr. A. His residence was searched, and mobile phone forensics were conducted. He is currently under arrest and the investigation is ongoing.
Lee Sun-kyun was discovered during the investigation of Mr. A. His name was mentioned by Mr. A and others. The police secured multiple pieces of circumstantial evidence and subsequently made Lee Sun-kyun a suspect.
In total, there are 8 individuals suspected of drug use associated with Mr. A. Mr. A is in custody, while Lee Sun-kyun and two others (referred to as B and C) have become suspects. The remaining four individuals are at the preliminary investigation stage.
The police plan to summon Lee Sun-kyun soon. They intend to conduct preliminary tests using hair samples and other methods. The specific investigation schedule is under discussion.
An official stated, "Once evidence related to Lee Sun-kyun has been secured, an investigation is unavoidable," adding, "We have not yet decided on an attendance schedule. We will coordinate it soon."

Dispatch has confirmed that the individual who allegedly threatened and harassed Lee Sun-kyun is Mr. A, the same person who was arrested on drug charges.
The reasons for Mr. A's threats have not been disclosed. It is unclear whether they were meant to obstruct the investigation or for financial gain. The amount of damages claimed by Lee Sun-kyun's side is reported to be approximately 350 million KRW.
