SEVENTEEN has proven its popularity in Japan, ranking first Oricon Chart in Japan.
According to the latest Japanese Oricon chart (dated November 6), SEVENTEEN topped the weekly combined album rankings (from August 21 to 27) with their 11th mini album 'SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN'.
This marks their 11th No. 1 on this chart. SEVENTEEN became the first foreign artist to top the Oricon weekly combined album chart 11 times.
The album title comes from adding the unique meaning to "7th Heaven" (a state of extreme happiness). Members unite with Carats (fandom name) as 'Team SVT', holding a massive festival to celebrate their achievements together.
It recorded the highest album sales during the tracking period (October 23-29), selling 548,550 copies in the first week of release. The group became the first boy group to hit No. 1 on the Melon 100 Chart this year.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN took first place on Mnet's 'M Countdown' with the title track on November 2.
