On this day, it was reported that the contracts between the former members of BTOB and Cube Entertainment ended last week, and it appears that re-signing is unlikely. 

The reason for the contract falling through is said to be related to "trademark rights." According to the report, Cube requested a share of a certain portion of the overall team's revenue in exchange for using the BTOB trademark, which led to the negotiations breaking down.

BTOB, which debuted in 2012, released several hit songs such as "Second Confession," "Pray," and "Only One for Me." In 2018, all the members renewed their contracts with Cube, showing loyalty.

However, before their second contract renewal, the members are considering the possibility of moving to other agencies. Previously, Cube stated, "The contract period for some BTOB members has not ended yet, so we will do our best until the expiration date," leaving the possibility of a renewal open.
