'BTS' Jungkook will appear on Japanese TV for solo performance.

On the 27th, Japanese Oricon News reported, "Jungkook will appear on the TBS music program 'CDTV Live! Live!'"

Jungkook will take the stage on 'CDTV Live!' on the 4th of next month, marking his first appearance on a Japanese broadcast as a solo artist.

He will perform a total of two songs, including the title track "Standing Next to You" from his first solo album 'Golden' and the single "Seven."

Jungkook released 'Golden' on the 3rd, an album inspired by his golden moments. On the day of its release, the album surpassed 2.14 million copies, setting a new record for solo K-pop releases.

The album made a strong impact on the music market both domestically and internationally. In Japan, it achieved a triple crown on Oricon, claiming the top spot in the 'Weekly Album Ranking,' 'Weekly Digital Album Ranking,' and 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking.'

Meanwhile, Jungkook is set to enlist in the military next month, joining RM, Jimin, V, and others who are also scheduled for active duty.
