SEVENTEEN was the top winner at the 2023 MAMA Awards.
Seventeen won three awards on the second day of the 2023 MAMA Awards held at Tokyo Dome, Japan on November 29.
The group won three awards – album of the year for 'FML'; best male group and best dance performance male group, both for 'Super.'
"I wondered whether I could win this award even once under the name of SEVENTEEN," S.Coups shared. "Thanks to CARAT (fandom name), we could renew our contract, and we could receive this honor as singers. I am so happy. I want to share this honor with CARAT."
"It was a group that was criticized from the beginning. I was told that it wouldn't work because there were too many members," Woozi said. "We've been making music for 11 years. I'm grateful to be able to repay CARAT."
Wonwoo said, "Thanks to CARAT, I have one more thing to brag about to my (late) mother later. Thank you."
Seungkwan mentioned the late Moonbin of Astro with tears in his eyes. "It has been an eventful year. I want to say thank you to my friend Bin, who loved our team."
Meanwhile, NewJeans' performance also stood out. The group won song of the year for their hit 'Ditto' and artist of the year.
