Zero Base One will officially debut in Japan in March of next year.
According to their agency, Wake One, Zero Base One will sign a contract with Sony Music Labels in March 2024 and make their debut in Japan. A fan meeting is also scheduled to take place in the same month locally.
Zero Base One made a mark in the music industry last July with their debut album 'Youth in the Shade,' achieving the milestone of becoming a double million-seller with that album.
Their recently released second mini-album, 'Melting Point,' surpassed sales of 2.13 million copies in its first week. This marked the first time in K-pop history that a group achieved double million-seller status with their debut album and the subsequent second album.
Even before their official debut, Zero Base One has been gaining significant popularity in Japan. Both 'Youth in the Shade' and 'Melting Point' secured top positions on the Oricon album charts in Japan.
Zero Base One expressed their happiness about being able to bloom in Japan through their agency, stating, "We are very happy to be able to bloom in Japan as well. We hope to create beautiful days together."
They added, "We look forward to sharing our music with our Japanese ZE_ROSE. We want to show many cool performances and will always run for ZE_ROSE."
