Nana has resigned her contract with her agency, Pledis Entertainment.
The statement released on December 1 reads, "We have renewed our contract with Nana based on the trust we have built through mutual respect over a long period of time. With our full support, Nana will be able to continue to challenge herself and develop further, focusing on her acting activities."
Nana made her debut with the girl group After School's second single 'Because of You'. The singer also performed in unit groups including Orange Caramel and After School Red.
In 2016, she made her debut as an actress and appeared in the series 'The Good Wife,' 'Kill It,' 'Justice,' and 'Oh My Ladylord.' Furthermore, she played a leading role in the films 'The Swindlers' and 'Confession'. Currently, Nana's acting in Netflix's thrilling new hit 'Mask Girl' has received positive reviews.
Meanwhile, Nana will star in Prime Video's upcoming series 'My Man is Cupid'. The trailer is due out December 1.
