BABY MONSTER's 'BATTER UP' Already Surpasses 50 Million Views... Sets the Record for the Fastest K-pop Group Debut MV

Rookie girl group BABYMONSTER's debut song 'BATTER UP' music video easily surpassed 50 million views.

According to YG Entertainment on the 1st, the music video for BABYMONSTER's 'BATTER UP' exceeded 50 million views at around 7:48 am on the same day.

Since its release on the 27th of last month at midnight, the 'BATTER UP' music video reached 50 million views in approximately 103 hours. It is the fastest pace among debut music videos of K-pop groups.

YG Entertainment stated, "Thanks to the enthusiastic love from global fans, the explosive increase in views continues even one day after the release." They added, "Since the release of the music video, the number of subscribers to the YouTube channel has increased by nearly 380,000, reaching 3.65 million."

BABYMONSTER is the new girl group launched by YG Entertainment, seven years after the debut of BLACKPINK. The team consists of six members: Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita.
