On December 7, Netflix released the poster and trailer for the original series 'Gyeongseong Creature,' announcing the beginning of the story.

'Gyeongseong Creature' is an action thriller. During the bleak period of Spring 1945, 'Gyeongseong Creature' tells the story of a businessman and a detective in a struggle to survive and confront a creature born from mankind's insatiable desire. 

In the poster, the sun sets and cherry blossoms create a romantic atmosphere. Ongseong Hospital, however, was shrouded in darkness, hinting at a huge secret.

Characters with an unrivalled presence also attract attention. Park Seo-joon, Han So-hee, Soo Hyun, Kim Hae-sook, Park Ji-hwan, Jo Han-chul, Choi Young-joon, Hyun Bong-sik, and Ok Ja-yeon are in the cast.

The trailer was also unveiled. It begins with Jang Tae-sang (portrayed by Park Seo-joon)'s desperate face, asking Yoon Chae-ok (portrayed by Han So-hee) and Yoon Jung-won (portrayed by Jo Han-chul) for help.

They hear rumors about Ongseong Hospital and decide to infiltrate there for their own purposes, uncovering a huge secret and struggling against dark greed.

Director Jeong Dong-yoon stated, "While Ongseong Hospital is a dark and tense place, I tried to portray Geumokdang and its hometown as bright and colorful."

Park Seo-joon shared, "The characters living in that era and the creatures that add fun create tension." Han So-hee added, "The combination of period drama and creatures creates diversity."

Netflix will debut Gyeongseong Creature Part 1 streaming on Netflix starting December 22, 2023, with Part 2 debuting January 5, 2024 just after New Years.
