ATEEZ's second studio album 'The World Episode Final: Will' released on December 1 bows at No. 1 on Billboard 200 albums chart.
KQ Entertainment's statement wrote, "It was a surprise to hear the news that the album had topped the Billboard 200 albums chart. This feels like a dream to the band, and they're thrilled to have received such good results following their last album."
The band also wrote in the statement "ATINY (fanbase) always supports and gives us strength, so we receive gifts like this everyday. We will continue to make ATEEZ's music so that we can repay the fans. Thank you."
The band first entered the Billboard 200 chart in 2021, landing at No. 42 with their 7th mini album 'Zero: Fever Part 3'. The first EP REPACKAGE 'Zero: Fever Epilogue' also landed at No. 73 in the same year.
The band claimed No. 2 with their 9th mini album 'The World Episode 2: Outlaw' last June. In succession, its 8th mini album 'The World Episode 1: Movement' debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart last July, marking the third consecutive time Ateez's 'The World' series ranked in the top three.
'The World Episode Final: Will' is Ateez's second studio album. All members were listed in the credits, and unit songs and solo songs were also included. The album sold 1.7 million copies in the first week of its release.
This album also debuted at No. 2 on the UK Official Chart, becoming the highest-ranking K-pop group on the chart following BTS and BLACKPINK.
Meanwhile, ATEEZ will appear on KBS-2TV's 2023 Music Bank Global Festival on December 15 at 8:30 p.m.
