BTS's Jimin Goes Live on Weverse Before Enlistment

On Monday (December 11), a day before Jimin of BTS's enlistment, the singer greeted his fans, saying, "I'll play it cool."

"I'll be back safely. I just thought I would be back soon, but it feels real after shaving my hair," Jimin shared on Weverse Live.

"The sooner I'm discharged from the military, the sooner we can all reconvene as a group again."

Jimin and Jung Kook will enlist together on December 12, marking the beginning of military service for the seven members of BTS.

"I feel like I have to be separated from the friends I've been with for 10 or 11 years," said Jimin. "I will deeply feel a gaping hole and my gratitude for all of you (fans)."

The singer added, "I think enlisting with Jung Kook gives me great encouragement."

Jimin and Jung Kook are expected to be discharged in June 2025. BTS plans to reconvene as a group again in 2025 following their military service commitments.

"After returning from the military, I hope I can do whatever I want without any worries," said Jimin. "The members often talked about going on tour together."

"I hope I can enjoy touring concerts again soon with everyone like I did in the past," the singer added. "I will not fall behind and show you a better side of myself."

BTS members have prepared a variety of content during their time in military service.

He said, "I have prepared things I want to do, but I'm not sure if you'll like them. I hope it will be a fun toy for you."

Prior to Jimin and Jung Kook, RM and V enlisted in the army on Monday.

Jimin said, "I went to see (RM and V) enlisting today. They entered the military with great courage. They told me with a smile, 'We will do well and stay healthy.'"
