YG's BABYMONSTER Records Fastest 100 Million Views for debut MV in K-Pop History with 'Batter Up'

YG's new girl group BABYMONSTER's music video for its debut single 'BATTER UP' has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.

YG Entertainment wrote that BABYMONSTER's debut music video 'BATTER UP,' which was unveiled on November 27 at midnight KST, raced to the 100 million milestone on December 15. The band recorded the fastest 100 million views for a debut music video in K-Pop history.

The band previously recorded 22.59 million views in one day, marking the most views in 24 hours in K-pop history. The single topped the global YouTube daily music video chart for five consecutive days.

Its dance performance video recorded more than 20 million views, becoming the most viewed video in 24 hours on Youtube. Currently, the live performance video has also exceeded 16 million views.

With YouTube playing a central role in the music market, it is no wonder that BABYMONSTER's influence is expanding internationally,building a solid fanbase.
