by. Kim jiwon

Singer Bang Ye-dam has been appointed as an ambassador for the Red Cross Youth (RCY).

On December 16, the singer attended the 12th Henry Dunant Award ceremony and received a plaque of appointment.

"I'm very happy and honored," Bang Ye-dam shared. "RCY is an international youth organization that engages in sharing and volunteer work in 192 countries. I will also take the lead in sharing with the members of RCY."

Kwon Young-gyu, the chairman of the RCY's Seoul branch, stated, "We are happy to appoint Bang Ye-dam as our public relations ambassador. His positive influence will hopefully inspire youth to grow up with humanitarian values."

Bang Ye-dam took his first steps as a solo musician last month. His first mini album 'Only One' entered the iTunes charts in 12 regions and topped two of them immediately after its release. The lead single 'Can't Wait' also entered the iTunes charts in six regions and topped two of them.
