Choi Woo-shik, who is recently star in the Netflix original series 'A Killer Paradox', is the cover star of Esquire's January Issue.
The actor portrays the role of 'Lee-tang' in 'A Killer Paradox'. He shared, "I was a fan of the original webtoon. Since this work has such a large fan base, I am curious about how the series will be received by viewers."
"The original work omitted the background and had almost no facial expressions, so the actors, including director Lee Chang-hee, worked to fill in the space, which was very interesting," he said. "Whatever you imagine, it will probably be a completely different scene."
Regarding the most exciting moment recently, he replied, "I had my first fan meeting in Japan and the Philippines 12 years after my debut, and I was really excited. Perhaps because of my low self-esteem, I have been doubting the love of my fans. There were times when I wondered why fans liked me."
"But this time, after communicating directly with my fans, I realized that they love me beyond doubt." He continued, "I should hold more fan meetings in the future. It means a lot to me."
"Actor Choi Woo-sik has been lucky so far. He met good series and good directors. Now is the time for me to prove my worth. I think I'm catching my breath during this transition period," the actor added.
