On December 26, the new episode of Suga's talk show Suchwita, in which IU appeared as the guest, was uploaded on BTS' official YouTube channel.
The two talked about composing and writing the song. Suga shared, "I don't know what to say because I put so many messages and thoughts into it." IU agreed to a point.
As part of a new artistic process, the singer revealed that she is writing intuitive lyrics. She said, "I won't tell an autobiographical story this time. There's a series I want to continue, so I'll keep the age-related stories. But I won't get too caught up in the message."
The singer also announced, "I think it will be a mini album. I'm thinking about 5 to 6 songs. I'm not sure if I'll promote the album (after it is released)."
IU is going on an overseas tour next year to meet UAENA (fandom name) not only in Korea but all over the world. It's her first tour since 'Love, Poem' in 2019.
The singer said, "I'm planning an overseas tour for the first time in a long time. It hasn't been decided yet, but I'm looking forward to meeting fans in places I've never been to."
Details of the concert are yet to be confirmed. The singer expressed her expectations, saying, "Because of COVID, it's been a long time since I haven't been able to visit the cities I love. It would be great if I could visit."
Recently, IU is filming the Netflix series 'You Have Done Well,' which will be aired in January next year.
