On December 27, ELLE released an interview of Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun conducted after the photo shoot.

Lee Dong-wook, who plays the role of Jeong Jin-man, shared about his first time playing an uncle. "A dad can play with you all day, but an uncle can play with you for about two hours. Jin-man's goal is to protect Ji-an, and he is an uncle who takes a harsher and stronger attitude toward raising his niece who will be left alone in the world." When asked if there was actually a role model like Uncle Jinman, he replied, "There is no specific being, but I rather reflect on my life experiences. When I feel difficulties and confront limitations, I open the archive of nearly 25 years of work and experience."

Regarding Kim Hye-jun, who co-starred as his niece, he said "She is a colleague who is the iron fist in the velvet glove just like Ji-an in the series. Despite the tight schedule, she always has a positive attitude, and she also has natural talent as an actor."

Kim Hye-jun, who played the niece who was left alone after her uncle's death, also shared, "I have liked Lee Dong-wook since 'My Girl'. As soon as I saw him, I said, 'I've been watching your work since you've played Seol Gong-chan.' He also treated us many times. He always tells me to think about what I want to eat after filming."

The actress also revealed, "I made a promise to myself not to do thrillers or anything dark after 'Connect' in order to try out for various roles, but after reading the script for 'A Shop for Killers, I really wanted to do this and I chose to follow my heart." She added, "I was physically challenged while acting, but I pushed myself to my limits."

'A Shop for Killers' is an action series about the survival of Ji-an, whose uncle Jin-man left behind a dangerous legacy that makes her the target of suspicious killers.
