by. Kim jiwon

Concerns are arising over the upcoming concert featuring numerous K-pop artists which will take place as scheduled despite a 7.6 magnitude earthquake just a day ago.

"All artists will appear as planned," wrote agency Kross regarding 'K-POP Masterz X KROSS vol.3' on January 2.

The concert will be held at the Vantelin Dome in Nagoya. Aespa, BoyNextDoor, ENHYPEN, &TEAM and others joined the lineup.

However, a magnitude 7.6 earthquake hit the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture on January 1. According to NHK, a magnitude 4.9 aftershock was recorded until dawn the same day.

Kross wrote in the statement, "If an earthquake is observed within Aichi Prefecture, there is a possibility that we may consider cancelling or postponing the concert."

Meanwhile, Park Seo-joon and aespa departed for Japan through Incheon International Airport on December 2.
