"The story of Gyeongseong in 1945 is not over."
The setting of Gyeongseong Creature Season 2 changes from 1945 to 2024.
On January 8, Gyeongseong Creature released the main story of Season 2. 'Gyeongseong Creature 2' depicts the story of Ho-jae (Park Seo-joon) meeting Chae-ok (Han So-hee), who survived the spring of Gyeongseong.
Ho-jae appeared in the end-credit scene of Season 1's final episode. He had the same face as Jang Tae-sang, the head of Geumokdang. A vertical scar on the back of his neck raised the curiosity of viewers.
In the season 2 stills, Ho-jae was picking up his old documents in a place reminiscent of Geumokdang. In another photo, Chae-ok was injured and in danger.
New faces have also joined the series. Lee Moo-saeng of 'The Glory' and Bae Hyun-seong of 'Our Blues' are set to appear in Season 2.
Director Jeong Dong-yoon said, "Season 2 focuses on the fate and future of Tae-sang and Chae-ok." He added, "Season 2 is a story with a completely different charm."
Jin Jong-hyun, VFX supervisor, predicted, "With time and place changing, it will be expressed with clear differentiation. The world view will be expanded further."
Park Seo-joon said, "Please look forward to how Tae-sang and Chae-ok's past narratives will be expressed in Season 2."
Han So-hee gave a hint, saying, "I hope you will pay close attention to how Chae-ok has changed over a long period of time and whether Ongseong Hospital was really destroyed."
Part 1 of 'Gyeongseong Creature' Season 1 was released on December 22 last year. Part 2 of Season 1 was released on January 5. Season 2 is scheduled to be released in 2024.
