According to the statement, Haechan visited a hospital due to flu symptoms accompanied by a high fever before scheduled activities in Japan. According to the examination results, he has a severe case of tonsillitis.

The agency stated, "The doctor advised that he needs plenty of rest and stability. Thus Haechan will be taking a break for the time being for his speedy recovery."

The agency continued, "We will do our best so that Haechan can greet fans again in good health." 

Recently, NCT 127 kicked off their second dome tour 'NEO City : JAPAN - THE UNITY' in Nagoya, Japan. Haechan couldn't join the tour due to health reasons.
