BTS is continuously setting records. Another 500 million view music video was added to their list.
Big Hit Music announced on the 15th that "The YouTube views of BTS's 'Black Swan' music video exceeded 500 million views around 7:59 a.m."
'Black Swan' is a song from their fourth studio album 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7', released back in 2020. The trap drum beats and the lo-fi guitar melodies create a beautiful harmony.
Since its pre-release, it has received overwhelming responses from fans all over the world. It ranked 57th in the U.S. Billboard's 'Hot 100' chart, and also managed to rank 46th in the U.K. Official Singles Top 100 as well.
The music video was as equally loved by many people. It shows the members changing from swans to black swans. The barefoot performance scene maximized the artistic sensibility.
'Black Swan' is the 17th music video to hit 500 million views. BTS has made numerous music videos into a hit. They hold a total of 39 music videos that has reached more than million views.
Their highest record stands at 1.7 billion views. These include 'Dynamite' and 'Boy With Luv'. DNA has surpassed 1.3 billion views.
Additionally 'IDOL' and 'FAKE LOVE' have more than 1.2 billion views on YouTube, while 'Blood, Sweat, Tears' and 'Butter' collected 900 million views so far.
'FIRE' and 'Dope' have more than 700 million views. 'Save Me' and 'Permission to Dance' have more than 600 million views.
Meanwhile, all members of BTS is fulfilling their mandatory military service. Their activities as the full BTS are scheduled for the second half of 2025.
