BTS member Jimin, currently serving in active duty in the military, has completed five weeks of basic military training and is continuing his military service in earnest.
Jimin finished his training as a trainee in the 5th Infantry Division on the 17th.
Jimin, along with Jungkook, enlisted together on December 12, 2023.
Particularly noteworthy is that Jimin, through hard work during training, achieved the top spot among trainees, receiving the highest commendation from Division Commander Yoon Gi-jung and representing the trainees in the oath-taking ceremony.
Afterward, on the 17th, Jimin shared through the official fan community Weverse, saying, "Tomorrow is the day I graduate from the training center. It feels like a little over a month has passed, and sometimes it feels long. With Jungkook next to me, time seems to pass quickly. Although it wasn't a long time, I really miss you all."
He continued, "I'm keeping in touch with the members through phone calls, asking about each other's well-being. Jungkook is also diligently adjusting to military life. He's doing so well in training that the guys all say, 'As expected, Jungkook hyung.' Being together provides a lot of support and strength."
Jimin also expressed, "I'll soon be heading to my unit, and I'll try to adapt well and live well there. I hope our ARMY takes care not to catch a cold, stays healthy, eats well, and thinks only positive thoughts."
Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook are continuing their military service in the same location.
