Rookie girl group 'BABYMONSTER' will be active as a 7-member group.
YG Entertainment's CEO, Yang Hyun-suk, released a 'YG Surprise Announcement' video on the official YG blog on the 25th.
Changes have come to the future activities of 'BABYMONSTER.' Member Ahyeon, who was on a break, has returned to the company. Ahyeon had previously faced the cancellation of her debut due to health reasons.
Yang, the CEO, stated, "Ahyeon has recovered her health and is currently recording the songs for the album," expressing his joy in delivering the good news promptly.
Ahyeon will be participating in the production of the group's first mini-album. The upcoming album will include the debut song 'BATTER UP' and the pre-release single ' Stuck In The Middle.'
The CEO explained, "The album will include the version featuring Ahyeon. You can look forward to the group activities of all 7 members of 'BABYMONSTER' starting from the mini-album."
Meanwhile, 'BABYMONSTER' is the girl group released by YG after a 7-year hiatus following BLACKPINK. The members were selected through a survival audition process.
