INB100 announced the casting of Xiumin on Sunday. "Xiumin will appear in the new drama 'Heo Restaurant' to be aired in 2024. He will be playing the main character, Heo Gyun." 

'Heo Restaurant' is a fantasy-romance comedy. It is based on a original web novel. It is a story about Heo Gyun, who lived in the Joseon Dynasty, time traveling to the modern era 400 years later and running a restaurant. 

Xiumin plays Heo Gyun, a genius man. He has unique writing skills combined with excellent aesthetic sense. He will act in different time dimensions, from the past to the present. 

The agency stated, "Xiumin is about to transform into a new character," adding, "We will continue to be active in various fields starting with the casting of Heo Restaurant." 

Meanwhile, 'Heo Restaurant' is scheduled to be revealed for the first time on streaming sites worldwide within this year.
