by. Gawon Park

Actors Choi Woo-sik and Son Seok-gu embark on a mysterious pursuit.

New Netflix series 'A Killer Paradox' (written by Kim Da-min, directed by Lee Chang-hee) released the main poster and main trailer.

'A Killer Paradox' depicts the story of an ordinary man who accidentally starts committing murders and the detective who relentlessly pursues him.

In the poster, Choi Woo-sik (as Lee Tang) and Son Seok-gu (as Jang Nangam) are present at the murder scene, with their temperatures contrasting greatly.

Lee Tang stands precariously drenched in rain, his bewildered face, fluctuating gaze, and a hammer in his hand suggesting a life-altering moment of accidentally committing his first murder.

Jang Nangam surveys the murder scene with an extraordinary gaze, activating a sharp expression. His bubble gum, seemingly about to burst, creates a strange tension.

The caption "Someone died, someone killed" succinctly encapsulates the drama, hinting at the peculiar relationship between Lee Tang, who unexpectedly becomes a murderer, and detective Jang Nangam pursuing him.

The trailer begins with the 'day' that completely overturns Lee Tang's life due to a fateful choice. Lee Tang accidentally killed someone, swaying dangerously with fear and guilt.

In front of him, the detective approaches, saying, "I truly understand the feeling of wanting to kill someone in your lifetime."

Lee Tang shrinks at his bone-chilling joke, and the detective keenly observes the change. The mood is swiftly reversed with a cut from the news.

The news reveals that Lee Tang's first murder victim was a malicious serial killer. Lee Tang casually mentions, "After killing, it turns out they were people who deserved to die. They killed two people, but there's no evidence."

Lee Tang transforms from a murderer to a condemner, unabashedly continuing his killings. Songchon (played by Lee Hee-jun) heightens the tension, asking, "Aren't you just a murderer? What makes you different?"

Lee Tang confronts his eerie reflection in the mirror, declaring, "Even if there's no answer, this is my choice." His determination raises anticipation for the upcoming pursuit.

'A Killer Paradox' is based on the webtoon of the same name, with director Lee Chang-hee at the helm. Known for his excellent genre output in films like 'Strangers from Hell' and 'The Vanished,' director Lee has garnered recognition.

'A Killer Paradox' will be available on Netflix from the 9th of next month.
