BLACKPINK Jennie Returns With 'Apartment 404'…"A Gift For BLINK"

Jennie of BLACKPINK will return to variety shows for the first time in 6 years through tvN's 'Apartment 404'.

'Apartment 404' released a still-cut of Jennie on Sunday. 'Apartment 404' is a show in which six people including Yoo Jae-seok, Cha Tae-hyun, Oh Na-ra, Yang Se-chan, Jennie and Lee Jung-ha track down the reality of extraordinary things against the background of an apartment that is quite familiar to us.

Attention is focusing on how Jennie, who has emerged as a 'variety show dark horse' through 'Village Survival, the Eight', will perform in 'Apartment 404'.Jennie revealed, "I've always liked solving mysteries and the news that some of my favorite cast and crew working on this show made me participate. It has been a long time since I've appeared in variety shows so I thought it would be a nice gift for my BLINKs too."

In addition, Jennie's hilarious charm in the teaser video that was released earlier, created even more buzz. It showed an upgraded sense of entertainment. She said, "I love a mystery, but since 'Apartment 404' is based on a true story, it feels like I'm actually in the case. I forgot that I was being filmed and I got so caught up in every moment. I think the audience will be capable to be immersed in it, just like us." She added, "Each member has their own unique characteristics, so I hope you enjoy watching how we solve and figure out the case."

Meanwhile, 'Apartment 404' will premiere on February 23rd.
