by. Gawon Park

The Netflix series 'Squid Game' is set to return this year with Season 2.

On the 1st, at 11:00 PM, Netflix officially opened the video and stills for 'Squid Game 2' through its official channel.

Season 2 begins with Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) giving up on going to the United States and returning with his own purpose.

In the video, Lee Jung-jae is shown talking on the phone at the airport, stating to the Frontman (played by Lee Byung-hun), "I will find you, no matter what it takes," with determination.

The release of four stills also raised expectations. Gi-hun faces Ddakji-nam (played by Gong Yoo) and sits down. Ddakji-nam holds a gun, intriguing curiosity.

The Frontman unveils his face, and Park Kyu-young makes her first appearance in the new season. In one of the stills, she is seen examining the invitation to the Squid Game.

Director Hwang Dong-hyuk once again took on the roles of directing, writing, and producing in 'Squid Game 2'. He previously won the Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series award at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards for Season 1.
