On the 21st, news quickly spread online that an official account had been created for Lucas, a former member of NCT and WayV.

The account lacks a photo or description of Lucas. However, it does bear the "SM" logo, proving Lucas's affiliation with SM Entertainment. The account has already amassed over 120,000 followers, attracting significant attention.

Public reactions to Lucas's official account creation and the suspicion of an impending solo debut haven't been entirely positive. Some express dissatisfaction with SM's handling of Lucas's situation, questioning his abilities for a solo debut, and urging better management of existing NCT and WayV members.

SM has yet to comment on Lucas's solo debut.

On a related note, Lucas suspended activities in August 2021 due to personal life exposures.

On August 23, 2021, a person claiming to be Lucas's ex-girlfriend exposed messages exchanged with Lucas under the title "I'm revealing being gaslit and being a victim of gold-digging by Lucas." The accuser disclosed instances of Lucas visiting her apartment and hotels on his days off, asking for money and even buying cigarettes. 

Following this, five more accusers emerged, accusing Lucas of cheating on them during their relationships, demanding luxury gifts, hotel reservations, and more.

On August 25, 2021, Lucas admitted to these accusations and posted a handwritten apology on social media, expressing remorse and announcing a hiatus to reflect on his actions.

Despite his apology, accusations continued. Eventually, on May 10, 2021, Lucas left NCT and WayV, stating his intention to engage in solo activities for his patient fans.
