SHINee's Taemin expressed his feelings about leaving SM entertainment.

Taemin delivered his words on the fan communication platform 'Bubble' on the 6th, saying, "I wanted to mention it very carefully because I didn't want my fans to worry, but it did end up this way." 

"I think I'll be having a fresh new start soon," he said. "I'm cautious about the timing to bring this up. But I didn't think it was polite to stay still without saying anything to those who were there for me." 

He said, "I decided to leave the company since last year. I also talked with the members well. Thank you to all the people who helped me so far. Thank you for believing in my choice and supporting me." 

Lastly, he said, "I've been and will be Lee Taemin anytime, anywhere," adding, "We've known each other for a while now. I believe there will be more good things, and I'll make it that way. I look forward to working with you both as SHINee and Taemin." 

SM Entertainment announced the end of its exclusive contract with Taemin on the 5th. SHINee's activities will continue at SM. Individual activities will be decided in the direction each member wants. 

Minho and Key are also positively discussing individual activities with SM. Onew is open to many directions. Taemin's exclusive contract ends this month.
