TWICE Participates in EDM (Every Dream Matters) Project

TWICE has taken a step towards helping patients with incurable diseases locally and globally.

Since 2019, JYP Entertainment has been continuing its 'EDM' (Every Dream Matters!: All Dreams are Precious), a project that emotionally supports children with incurable diseases.

TWICE recently made memories with three children in Korea and other countries. Kim Seung-hwan, 19, is suffering from Duchenne dystrophy. After touring the company building, he met with the members of TWICE and talked with them in person.

TWICE delivered an album with their autographs. Seung Hwan's wish was to be greeted a happy morning with the voice of the members. TWICE gifted him a very special alarm.

"It was an unforgettable day. I was able to do everything I've always been curious about, such as talking with TWICE," Kim Seung-hwan said. "I think I'll be able to cheer up by remembering my memories from 'Wish Day' from now on."

TWICE also had online meetings with children in other countries. Yantzso, 20, who lives in Hong Kong, is suffering from Hodgkin lymphoma. She prepared and showed "One Spark" and "Cheer Up" to the members.

"I was honored and happy to be able to dance in front of TWICE, my role model," Yantzso said. "The members' support gave me motivation to follow my dreams. It greatly affected my self-esteem and confidence."

Wonrokksh, 21, of Hong Kong, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. She went on to study nursing. She confessed that TWICE gave her a lot of strength. The members sang her wish, "One in a Million."

Wonrokksh said, "I was really moved because TWICE sang the song that lit up my darkness when I was stressed and depressed."

TWICE said, "Thank you for considering meeting us as your wish. Rather, it seems that we get more support and strength from this," adding, "We will repay you by working hard in the future."

JYP Entertainment is steadily carrying out the EDM business. Its artists are communicating with children with incurable diseases and inviting them to concerts. Until last year, a total of 271 people were with it.

Meanwhile, TWICE topped the U.S. Billboard main chart "Billboards 200" with their new song "With YOU-th." They will hold an encore performance of the world tour "READY TO BE" in Las Vegas on the 16th.
