V of BTS proved his global influence. His solo song have reached the Billboard's main charts once again.

Billboard announced on its official SNS on the 26th (Korea Standard Time) that V's new song '"FRI(END)S" debuted at No. 65 on the main single chart 'Hot 100'." 

It is the fourth time that V has been on the Billboard Hot 100 with a solo song. It only shows a slight gap with his other song "Slow Dancing," which ranked 51st. 

V ranked in the Hot 100 for the first time last year with "Christmas tree" (79th). Since then, "Love Me Again" (96th) and "Slow Dancing" joined in.

"FRI(END)S" is a love song that goes perfect with spring. The lyrics incorporate the desire to be more than friends. It is characterized by V's vocals that go well with both bass and falsetto. 

The new song swept various charts right after its release. It ranked seventh on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, as of Wednesday. 

In the U.K., it broke its previous record. According to the latest official chart count (as of Tuesday), "FRI(END)S" ranked 13th on the single chart. It became the highest-ever self record in chart.
