"You're so pretty" is an expression that comes out naturally in front of Minji of New Jeans.

Minji decorated the cover of the special digital project "D Edition" of the fashion magazine "Elle."

Minji is holding a red flower and staring at the camera. The theme of this photo shoot is 'Camellia and Minji'. In order to directly experience Camellia, an iconic flower representing Chanel and used as the main ingredient in its beauty skincare line, a photo shoot was taken at the vast Camellia farm where thousands of types of Camellia are preserved and cultivated in an eco-friendly manner.

As a Chanel ambassador, New Jeans Minji headed to the Gaujacq area in southwestern France to experience red camellia, a key ingredient in Chanel Beauty's skincare line "No.1 DE CHANEL."

At a place where Jean Toby, a camellia expert who partnered with Chanel, has taken over the family business that has grown plants for five generations, protects more than 2,000 types of camellias and grows more than 3,000 types of plants, New Jeans Minji met with Jean Toby and other Chanel farm operations manager and Philippe Grandry to talk about their passion and dedication to camellia. "I never knew there was such a variety of camellias," Minji said. "I fell in love with the white and red camellias that would have gone extinct without my collaboration with Chanel. I could feel how serious Chanel was about camellia."

It is also interesting to hear from an expert on how eco-friendly camellia is cultivated, saying, "It is interesting to plant camellia trees and other varieties of trees in order to maintain biodiversity. The story that camellia trees can grow healthier amid diversity reminds us of the members of New Jeans, who stand out more in various charms," he said, expressing his affection for the group.

Minji did not lose energy despite the long filming schedule from the deep and vast Camellia forest to the hotel suite and the fickle weather, drawing awe from the staff.

Meanwhile, New Jeans is raising expectations by announcing the release of double singles in Korea and Japan and the fan meeting at Tokyo Dome in Japan on May 24th and June 21st, respectively, through the official communication app "Phoning."
